Parking

Because the classroom is located near the heart of the main campus, there is no parking immediately adjacent to it. There are several parking options, each varies in its proximity to the classroom and number of spaces (and probability of finding an open spot). The availability of these parking spaces is affected by the schedule of special Stanford events.

The nearest street parking is along the Oval or on Santa Teresa Street. There are additional spaces along Lomita Drive in front of the Cantor Center for Visual Arts, the Rodin Sculpture Garden, and the Old Chemistry Building. There are relatively few of these popular spaces.

There is a large number of parking spaces available in the multi-story parking structures, PS-1 (off of Campus Drive and Roth Way) and PS-2 (on the corner of Panama Street and Via Ortega) as well as the parking lot adjacent to Tresidder Union. This map shows their relationship to the classroom.

Other parking areas can be found on the maps.

Building and Classroom Access

Classroom 127 in Building 530 has two entrances. The accessible entrance faces Escondido Mall and the Main Quad. A short flight of 3 stairs leads to the second entrance on the east side of the building. Please note that there is no access to the classroom through the lobby entrance of Building 530. The classroom can accommodate wheelchair users in the front and back of the room.

Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are off the lobby area.

On-campus Access

The closest Marguerite Shuttle stops are in front of the Mian Quad (Lines C and V) and near the Roble Gym (Lines X and Y). All Marguerite shuttles are wheelchair-accessible. Call 650/723-9362 for information or download Marguerite schedules and routes.

The Office of Accessible Education operates a free Disability Golf Cart Service, DisGo, for all members of the Stanford community. It is open to anyone with a disability or medical condition that makes it difficult to travel about campus. DisGo currently maintains two 4-seat golf carts and one wheelchair accessible cart.
