  • Is open for enrollment by undergraduate or graduate students in any discipline

  • Has no prerequisites

  • Is a Haas Center for Public Sevice designated Service-Learning Course

  • Is approved for the Program in Science, Technology & Society (STS) - included on the Information Technology, Media, and Society concentration area in Science and Engineering Courses section (3 credit option)

  • Satisfies the optional course requirement for the BS degree in Mechanical Engineering (3 credit option)

  • Can be approved as an elective for the MS degree in Mechanical Engineering by a faculty advisor
